Maria Angeles Escudero Artiaga grew up in Spain from the small town, Callosa de Segura, the same town featured for the character, Angela in Ms. Escudero first film "Life Passion Death". Ms. Escudero studied molecuar biology in the University Autonoma of Madrid and obtained a Cum Laude Doctorate degree in Biology by the Neuroscience Institute of Spain. She moved to the United States in 1997 to do research for Harvard University at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Three years later Ms. Escudero moved to New York City where she discovered her passion for acting and film. While in New York she trained as an actress by attending several acting schools including: Americam Academy of Dramatic Art, New York Film Academy, TVI Actors Studios and Black Nexus Inc. In 2006 Ms. Escudero enrolled in the Film Making Program at the Digital Film Academy, NY. Also in 2006 she launched her first experience as an independent filmmaker by starting to write, produce, direct, act and edit the film "Life Passion Death". After almost two years of hard, constant and passionate labor she finished her feature film.
